YES thrives because of our incredible allies, advocates, and community supporters! Volunteers are at the heart of our mission to prevent and eliminate youth homelessness, and we’re excited to welcome you into this vital work.

Historically, our dedicated volunteers and interns have enriched YES in numerous ways. Peer interns have managed essential services like our supply closets, laundry room, and kitchen operations, providing crucial hands-on and behind-the-scenes support. Community volunteers have made a meaningful impact through tutoring, one-on-one job-seeking assistance, engaging workshops and activities, and organizing impactful events.

As we proudly reopen our Drop-In Center, we are eager to rebuild a robust volunteer community that embodies our core values of youth partnership, anti-oppression, trauma-informed care, dignity, safety, and trustworthiness.
